unctional and integrative psychiatry combines evidence-based psychiatric care with a whole-person approach. Rather than focusing only on symptom management, it also considers factors like nutrition, sleep, hormones, inflammation, lifestyle, and overall health that may be affecting your mental well-being.
Treatment is personalized and may include medication when appropriate, targeted laboratory evaluation, nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, evidence-based supplements, and collaboration with your other healthcare providers.

Luna Psychiatry is a self-pay practice. This allows for longer appointments, a more personalized approach, and the time to look beyond symptom management. Insurance-based visits are often limited in time and primarily focus on treating symptoms and medication adjustments.
To make reimbursement easier, Luna Psychiatry partners with Reimbursify. The app lets you check your out-of-network benefits and easily submit claims for reimbursement from your insurance plan.

I work with adults who want to feel heard and understood—not rushed. Whether you’re starting treatment for the first time or have been struggling for years, we’ll take the time to understand the bigger picture and create a treatment plan that fits your goals.

Yes. Medication is one of many tools I use to help patients feel better and is prescribed when it’s clinically appropriate. My goal is to use the lowest effective dose while helping you achieve lasting wellness.
If you’ve been taking medication for a long time and would like to reduce or discontinue it, I’m happy to work with you on a thoughtful, gradual deprescribing plan when it’s safe and appropriate.
Controlled medications may be prescribed in select situations, but they are not the focus of my practice. I do not provide long-term benzodiazepine management, and stimulant medications for ADHD are prescribed only after a comprehensive evaluation and when clinically appropriate.
-
Yes. My approach is about more than prescribing medication. Every visit includes supportive psychotherapy, education, and personalized guidance to help you reach your goals.
If you would benefit from ongoing or specialized psychotherapy, I’ll help connect you with the right therapist and coordinate your care.
